When you’re young, you don’t consider the consequences of your actions.
Being out in the sun too long, smoking, tanning beds and drinking, all cause wrinkles and premature aging. We all know this. But the youth believe they are invincible.
According to Dr. Michele Green, a dermatologist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, you show them.
“Young people are not concerned, for the most part, with their own mortality. The idea of ‘cancer’ seems miles away and not a consequence of their actions today,” she said.
The only way they will heed the warning is by showing them the effects. Young people are much quicker to respond if they see the actual damage they themselves are creating.
If you have a son or daughter that needs to see the error of their ways, we would be happy to show them.
